About Jeffrey Shearer

The Law Office of Jeff Shearer PLLC opened shortly after Jeff Shearer was sworn in as an attorney in the Spring of 2020. While the firm originally opened as more of a general practice in White Settlement, Texas, it relocated to Granbury, Texas, in May 2022, and now primarily handles all types of criminal matters in state courts. The firm has vast criminal defense experience handling appellate matters, writs, and trials, from the simple drug possession case to allegations involving the most serious of offenses. We take a client-centered approach to the practice of law and try to focus each case on the client’s specific needs. We also offer payment plans to those that need them. The Law Office of Jeff Shearer PLLC believes that the Founding Fathers envisioned a society where all people should be able to live their lives free from the interference of a tyrannical and overstepping government. Jeff Shearer served for eight years as a United States Marine to protect those beliefs and now takes that Marine Corps tenacity to the courtrooms of Texas in order to help those having their liberty threatened. Our firm seeks to restore this vision of limited government by advocating for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, one client at a time.

AI in Court Filings: The Ethics Line Between Assistance and Abdication

03/30/2026

By Ryan Katz It is no secret that Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is vastly changing the landscape of many different fields.
