He has served as lead counsel in thousands of cases involving car accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle accidents, bus accidents, and catastrophic injury and wrongful death across Georgia. Troy earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Mercer University's Walter F. In 1998, Governor Zell Miller appointed Troy as Solicitor-General of Screven County, where he served as the sole prosecuting attorney in the State Court of Screven County. This prosecution experience directly informs his criminal defense practice. Troy has served as an adjunct instructor at Georgia Southern University, teaching Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, and Judicial Process. He currently serves on the State Bar of Georgia Board of Governors and previously served on the State Bar's Committee on Lawyer Advertising, Fair Marketing Practices Committee, and Special Committee on Attorney-Client Solicitation. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Troy's practice covers personal injury and wrongful death claims statewide, DUI defense, and criminal defense in Statesboro, Bulloch County, and surrounding communities including Savannah, Richmond Hill, Hinesville, Metter, Glennville, and Claxton. His areas of particular focus include uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, impaired driver cases, and injury and wrongful death involving minors. Troy handles every case personally — no junior associates, no handoffs. The Marsh Law Firm | 34 Courtland Street, Statesboro, GA 30458 | (912) 764-7388
