About Joshua Mulligan
Joshua Mulligan defends DUI cases in Indio and throughout the Coachella Valley, with deep experience handling cases at the Larson Justice Center, where the machinery of the system can start grinding long before anyone has bothered to ask whether the accusation really holds up. He knows the local terrain: late-night traffic stops, festival-related arrests, checkpoint cases, DMV license problems, and the way one DUI arrest can suddenly threaten your job, your record, your driver’s license, and your peace of mind. As a California State Bar Certified Criminal Law Specialist, Cornell Law graduate, and Trial Lawyers College graduate, Josh brings serious credentials and real trial-level defense skills to every DUI case. He approaches these cases with a healthy suspicion of easy official narratives. An arrest is not proof. A breath machine is not a prophet. And a police report is not carved into stone on a mountaintop. Josh examines the stop, the officer’s observations, the field sobriety tests, the chemical testing, and the assumptions built into the government’s case. His job is to slow the whole thing down, test the evidence, expose weak spots, and fight for the person caught in the system.

AI in Court Filings: The Ethics Line Between Assistance and Abdication

By Ryan Katz It is no secret that Artificial Intelligence, or AI, is vastly changing the landscape of many different fields. While the practice of law is certainly not something anybody would want to be taken over by AI in any major way, AI is still a tool which has applications for lawyers. Generative AI can help lawyers brainstorm arguments, organize...
