About Dominick Welch

Mr. Welch focuses the firm specifically on DUI defense and works daily with the assigned prosecutors and judges to the dedicated DUI courtrooms in only a few local counties, including Placer, Sacramento, Yolo, and Sutter/Yuba. Prior to opening Welch Law Firm, Dominick R. Welch was employed by the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office. While there, he was trained in the confidential negotiation guidelines of the prosecutor's office. He uses these skills to know when mitigation and dismissal are possible in your DUI case. He was further trained by the California Highway Patrol and the Crime Laboratory in forensic and practical procedures to determine blood alcohol content through breath or blood testing, as well as standardized field sobriety testing and your rights during a DUI stop. Mr. Welch uses this expertise to bring the best possible outcome to the clients he represents.
