A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School (Class of 1994), he articled at the Ministry of the Attorney General before beginning his lifelong path as a trial lawyer. Edmund brings nearly three decades of courtroom experience to the defence of individuals charged with criminal offences across Ontario, with a particular focus on impaired driving (by alcohol or drug), criminal driving allegations, and complex trial litigation. Edmund holds a B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Washington (1989), an M.A. in Criminal Justice from the State University of New York at Albany (1990), and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California (1991). Currently practicing with Aitken Robertson, Edmund serves clients across Ontario, with active cases in Toronto, Brampton, Oshawa, Newmarket, and Milton. He regularly defends allegations ranging from impaired driving and over 80 offences to more serious criminal charges. He approaches every impaired driving file—whether involving alcohol, drugs, or a combination of both—with close attention to Charter compliance, procedural fairness, and real-world consequences for his clients. In addition to his legal work, Edmund is a passionate scuba diver and avid traveler. He volunteers as a certified official in lifesaving championships across Canada and internationally, combining discipline and precision in both his professional and personal pursuits
