About Virginia Dolinska
Virginia Dolinska is a criminal defence lawyer with Aitken Robertson who has devoted her entire eight-year legal career to defending clients charged with impaired driving and other criminal offences. Since being called to the Bar, she has consistently maintained a high-volume DUI practice for clients across Ontario. Virginia’s approach to DUI defence is rooted in precision, preparation, and a strong command of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. She believes that success in impaired driving cases depends on technical knowledge, staying ahead of legal developments, and acting quickly to preserve every available defence. Over the years, she has worked on numerous complex cases involving high blood-alcohol readings, 11(b) delay applications, challenges to the grounds for Approved Screening Device demands, and disputes over timing in collision-related matters. In addition to her work in court, Virginia mentors junior lawyers and articling students within the firm, sharing her insights on DUI litigation strategy, Charter application, and case management under tight timelines. With her combination of ongoing, high-level casework and dedication to defending the constitutional rights of her clients, Virginia brings determination and focus to every impaired driving file she takes on.
