At the tail end of my career, I decided to fulfill my dream and become a lawyer. I passed the bar in 2024. Prior to that, I was a court clerk, an office manager for the Prosecuting Attorney, and most recently I served 14 years as the Chief Magistrate (non-attorney) in the 89th District Court. I retired from that position and am a solo practitioner. About half of my work is in public defense, mostly focused on OWI charges.
