About Daniel Woodard
After more than 30 years of military and commercial helicopter flying, in 2018, I decided to leave aviation and pursue my true lifelong dream of becoming an attorney. I attended Lincoln Memorial University Law School, where I graduated with honors. After successfully passing the TN Bar and receiving my license, I joined The Garza Law Firm, one of East-Tennessee’s highest-rated criminal defense firms. For three years, I dedicated himself to gaining invaluable experience in criminal defense representation and completed numerous educational courses, specifically in DUI defense and trial representation, preparing myself to provide the highest level of service to my clients. My hard work paid off, as I have been voted by my peers as a City View Top Attorney in DUI Defense and Criminal Defense in 2022 and 2024. Personal Contact: Using the Officer's Observations Against Them
03/10/2025
Written by Charles GoodwinEdited by Michelle Behan and Steven Hernandez The typical DUI investigation has three phases. It begins with the vehicle in motion and focuses on driving patterns that officers are trained might indicate impairment.
