About George A. Napier

George A. Napier is an award-recognized Texas DWI and criminal defense attorney who represents clients facing serious criminal charges in Conroe, Houston, Montgomery County, Harris County, and surrounding communities. As Founding Partner of The Napier Law Firm, PLLC and a member of the National College for DUI Defense, George brings clients the benefit of proven courtroom experience, focused DWI defense, and the insight of a former prosecutor. Before entering criminal defense, George served for nearly six years with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained substantial felony and misdemeanor trial experience as an Assistant District Attorney and Chief Prosecutor. Today, he uses that prosecutorial background to anticipate how the State builds its cases and to craft strategic defenses for clients accused of DWI, drug offenses, assault, theft, robbery, trespass, expunction-related matters, and other criminal charges. George has earned numerous professional honors and recognitions, including selection to Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2020–2026, The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40, an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a 10.0 Avvo rating, and recognition by Justia Lawyers. His firm biography also lists recognition by the Association of American Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers. George’s courtroom reputation began early. While attending LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, he was appointed to the Trial Advocacy Board and was a Mock Trial Competition Finalist. During his time as a prosecutor, he was also a four-time recipient of the Award for Excellence in Trial. When clients are facing the possibility of a conviction, license consequences, jail time, or damage to their reputation, George provides direct advice, thorough preparation, and aggressive advocacy from the first consultation through the final resolution of the case. His practice is built on helping good people through difficult moments and fighting to protect their rights, record, and future.
