About Bradley A. Keffer
Bradley Keffer began his legal career serving as a deputy prosecuting attorney in both Marion County (Indianapolis) and Tippecanoe County (Lafayette). As a deputy prosecutor in both counties, he led the Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) where he was responsible for prosecuting DUI and OVWI cases involving death or serious bodily injury. In addition to prosecuting all types of misdemeanor and felony offenses, Mr. Keffer focused on fatality and serious bodily injury Hit & Run cases, and White Collar crimes. He was also responsible for reviewing and monitoring sobriety check points and training law enforcement officers on DUI investigations, traffic stops, DUI law, administering sobriety checkpoints, and search and seizure.
In his time as a prosecutor, Mr. Keffer has tried over twenty-five jury trials and countless bench trials, and provided training to other prosecutors on DUI law and DUI prosecution. He has also received specific training on accident investigation/reconstruction as well as the presentation of computer forensic evidence in the courtroom.
While in law school, Mr. Keffer served as an intern for two years at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Indiana (Civil and Criminal Divisions). He also completed externships with the Marion County Superior Courts, the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Marion County Prosecutor's Office, the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office, and the Office of the Governor of the State of Indiana.
