About Todd E. Schroeder
Attorney Todd Schroeder is a partner in the La Crosse WI criminal defense firm of Schroeder & Lough, SC. He is the current president of the La Crosse Area Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and Former Board Member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. Attorney Schroeder works primarily in the area of OWI defense, and works to maintain his knowledge of OWI and DUI defense strategies through regular continued training. Throught the NCDD, he completed the Intensive Summer Session Curriculum held at Harvard Law School in 2010. He also received a Certificate of Completion of Mastering Scientific Evidence In DWI/DUI Cases. Attorney Schroeder annually receives national training specific to OWI/DUI cases, focusing on challenging blood and breath test results and field sobriety test results and other unique challenges inherent to OWI/DUI defense. He received certified training to administer Standardized Field Sobriety Tests-the same training that police receive for sobriety testing through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Attorney Schroeder has presented to local and statewide seminars on issues of forensic science, the admissibility of scientific evidence, challenging the reliability of blood testing, and investigating and defendant impaired driving cases. Attorney Todd Schroeder has been selected as a Rising Star in Criminal Defense by SuperLawyers, a distinction granted to less than 3% of eligible lawyers.
