About Travis A. Bryan I
Travis A. Bryan I is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Teflono Law Group, PLLC, where he provides dedicated and strategic DUI and criminal defense. Licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas, including the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He also holds admissions to practice in the Muskogee (Creek) Nation and Choctaw Nation in Oklahoma. In addition, he is the managing member of El Teflono Strategic Services Group, LLC, a private security and investigations firm that provides investigation, private process, and other support services for criminal defense attorneys in Texas. Mr. Bryan earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2016, where he was inducted into The International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi. In 2013, he obtained an MBA in Criminal Justice, Graduate with Highest Distinction, from Liberty University, where was inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma (Criminal Justice Honor Society). Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Criminal Law and Justice at the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law. Mr. Bryan’s professional accolades include being named among the Top 10 under 40 for Criminal Defense in Texas in 2021, and among the Top 10 for Criminal Defense in Texas in 2022, 2023, and 2024, by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDA), as well as being recognized as a Texas Rising Star from 2021 to 2023, and a Texas Super Lawyer in 2024. He currently serves as president of the National Association for Justice and Legal Reform (NAJLR), and as a director for Americus Legal Aid, Americus Legislative Action Fund, and Americus Law Foundation. Mr. Bryan is also a proud member of the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD), National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association (HCCLA), Houston Bar Association (HBA), American Bar Association (ABA), Texas Bar College, State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College, and Texas Equal Access Commission’s Champion of Justice Society.
