Hutton, a graduate of the UCLA School of Law, specializes in the defense of DUI cases and has tried over 400 DUI jury trials. He is currently the President of the California Deuce Defenders and member of the Board of Governors of the California Attorneys for Criminal Justice and is a past president of both the Glendale Bar Association 1991 and the Los Angeles County Criminal Courts Bar Association 1983, and was the recipient of the Jerry Giesler Memorial Award from the latter organization, which recognizes outstanding courtroom abilities. Mr. Hutton is a certified criminal law specialist as certified by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California and has lectured extensively on DUI litigation, including speaking to numerous bar associations and has taught classes for the U.S.C. Advanced Professional Program on the subject of driving under the influence. He is also the editorial consultant to Ed Kuwatchs Treatise on California Drunk Driving Law.
