Accessing the Virtual Library. Tips from Your Virtual Librarian

One of the benefits of being a member is access to the virtual library. It is filled with numerous articles, manuals and presentations about what you might be looking for. This library is easy to search and easy to use, but there is one catch. You have to be in the google world.

In order to access the Virtual Library, you will need a gmail account. Go to google and create one. It’s fast and easy, and will make accessing the virtual library a snap. If you do not have a gmail account, you can still look through the library, but you will have to do it folder by folder.

Once you have created your gmail account, go to, and on the upper left hand banner, you will see a button that says “Sign in”. You can find it here:

Click on those words, and sign in with your NCDD email and password. If you are already signed in, click on your name, and click the button to take you to the member portal. Once in the member portal, on the left side is a list of pages you may view. Go midway down to the “Virtual Library”. Click on this link, which will take you to a page about the Virtual Library, or you can click here:

Once on the Virtual Library Page, look midway down for the green button, and click on “Access the Virtual Library”. You have now entered the virtual library, and you can either look through the folders or perform a search.

Before you search, you will need to log into google drive. On the right side of the banner, you will see a blue button that says, “sign in”. Click this button and login with your gmail account. You are now in the library.

Enjoy access to the countless articles in the library, and we are trying to add more whenever we find one. Let me know if you have any problems.
