Dean and Parliamentarian. Founded in 1960 by Alfred J. Bianchi, The Bianchi Law Firm first began to emphasize DUI defense. After serving three years as a King County Deputy Prosecutor, George joined the firm in 1985 and has since become recognized as an innovator in the defense of DUI and other alcohol and drug related crimes. He has lectured at numerous CLE Programs throughout the United States concerning DUI defense and has been lead counsel in a number of cases in Washington resolving significant criminal law issues. He is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice [formerly the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association]; Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; American Trial Lawyers Association; and Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice. George is a Founding Member of the National College for DUI Defense and was elected to the position of Regent with the National College for DUI Defense in July of 2000. He currently holds the positions of Dean and Parliamentarian to the National College for DUI Defense as well as President of the Washington Foundation for Criminal Justice. George has been named a Super Lawyer by Washington Law & Politics annually since 2000 and also been annually named one of the Top 25 in Criminal Defense on the Washington Super Lawyers List since 2006. In 2003, he was presented with the prestigious Deans Service Award from the National College for DUI Defense.
