In Memoriam 1938-2008 BOARD CERTIFIED BY THE NATIONAL COLLEGE FOR DUI DEFENSE-1999 BOARD OF REGENTS- 1995-2001 DEAN OF THE NATIONAL COLLEGE FOR DUI DEFENSE- 2000-2001 Reese Joye was well known for his motto: "There is no substitute for preparation". Active in opposing legislative changes to DUI laws and constantly in trial, Mr. Joye epitomized a "champion" of the rights of accused drinking drivers. He co-authored several books on DUI law, lectured across America on the topic of "DUI Defense", had a degree in mechanical engineering and owned his own Breathalyzer machine.
